Dinner and a spilled martini and a Movie

We watched Babette's Feast/Babette's gæstebud which Id never seen and was an INCREDIBLE movie. I loved it. This picture was taken minutes before I knocked the martini all over the place. And I was drinking water at the time! Oh well... The pickled garlic we got from City Olive, a new shop which just opened up in the neighborhood. You can go in and try any of the olive oils, even the truffle oil! They were very nice there.

I have to pimp the chocolates boxed in the middle left side of the picture. Gail Ambrosius ... she does fantastic things with chocolate. The 99% chocolate was probably the best thing Ive ever eaten. Possibly! A rival to my beloved neighborhood bonbon ? Vosges has nothing on these places, trust me.
